The DC266 is powered by twin Yamaha 200-hp outboards. BoatTEST has run sea trials on the boat and has determined that her top speed is 49 mph with a full load of fuel and standard ss props. Her cruising range is about 306 statute miles at 27.7 mph. Her 21-degree deadrise at the transom is a good compromise between efficiency and riding comfort.
Her interior is designed for an active family. There are 3 seats in the stern, a table, and wet bar console. The bow also has a table for entertaining. A livewell, rod holders and rod racks let her fish, and a bridle and tow line are aboard for tow sports. The hard top and flush toilet are just a few of the amenities.

NOT A MASS-MARKET BOAT CLUB/WITH LOW-COST BOATS AND HOURLY PROGRAMS
SBF is designed for serious boaters, people who appreciate up-scale boats and a quality boating experience, in a safe, well-equipped boat that can go as far as 50 miles offshore. It also has programs for beginning boaters, offering instruction on its boats by USCG captains who will teach boating safety, rules of the road and boat handling. All SBF vessels have an electric toilet, gps/chartplotter, VHF radio, premium sound system, hardtop for sun and rain protextion, and most have twin engines for peace of mind. All rentals are for a full 9-hour day. Over- night use for up to 4 days is available.

Here’s How Our Program works
- Every SBF boat operator must pass our boat handling proficiency exam. All family members over 21 are eligible as operators after taking the test, and if needed, taking an available safe boating course administered by a USCG captain.
- Charter by the day, or buy a package of days that fits in with your life-style.
- Reserve the days you want the boat online. Some rules apply.
- Our boats are intended for member operation, but if a captain is wanted, the Club will supply one for an extra fee.
- Once you’re done for the day, thoroughly clean the boat for the next user. Alternatively, SBF will have the boat cleaned for a fee.
- Unlimited Members and 25-day package buyers are first in line for renewal for subsequent years, as we limit the number of members rentals for each boat.
